What is a Mentor? A wise and trusted friend. A good listener. Someone who cares. A person who is a role model, advisor, companion, confidant, leader, teacher, buddy, and guide.

There are five easy steps:
  1. Personal interview
  2. Complete an application
  3. Be fingerprinted and pass a child abuse index screening
  4. Meet with the youth and family
  5. Attend informal training

 

What is a Mentee? Any young person age 5-18 that would be interested in fishing, cooking, swimming, sewing, gardening, arts & crafts, music, wood working, writing, pottery, hiking, computers, auto mechanics, sports, and more.
